Schaut gerne mal dort vorbei!

Hello readers of Lackaffen! =)
It is such an honour and privilege for me to be able to guest post here today! Thank you so much for the kind invitation!
For those who do not know me, I blog over at Lacqueerisa and go by the same pseudonym. About a year ago, I ventured into the world of nail art and there’s no turning back since then! =)
Today, I thought I’d share one of my favourite nail art style which is pattern! It is inspired by this picture which I have pinned into my pinterest board.
A little bit about the inspiration.. When I looked at this picture, I thought the room looked really beautiful and bright, on top of that, cheerful! It would be so lovely to wake up to a room like that in the morning! I can’t possibly keep something as fun and cheerful as this all to myself now, can I? After all, nothing’s better than to spread a little bit of cheerfulness around =D
Now onto the nail art, what captured my attention a lot in the picture was the blankets that have simple lines that seem to criss-crossed each other. I can’t get over how simple it is yet it was able to create such an interesting look.
I started off with two coats of white polish on each nail. Then using a brush, painted the stripes criss-crossing them to mimic the pattern on the bed. I was going to have all of them with the same look until I realized how dissatisfied I was with the middle finger. And figured I should redo it. I was going to redo the similar patterns (alternating colours) but then, something else caught my attention in the picture -- the triangle-pattern pillow cover. Hahaha! Thus, the accent nail was born! =P
And that’s about it for this nail look. I hope you have enjoyed this nail look as well as the inspiration and my rather random post! =P Wish you all a wonderful bright cheerful day ahead!
Once again I would like to extend my many thanks to the wonderful Ladies of Lackaffen for having me here today! And thank you all for taking your time to read this post! =)

LöschenAnyway, hehe thank you very much Anhy! For liking my works and your very kind compliments! Means a lot to me! :D Thank you!
Love the pattern and the colours!! My favourite nail is the one with the triangles haha!! :)
AntwortenLöschenHehe! Thank you! Hahaha! Triangles are irresistible! ;)
LöschenFollowed you here. :P I can't believe it's only been a year or so you've been doing nail art. You're so good. *w*
AntwortenLöschenHaha!! Thank you so much for the wonderful support! :) True, it's only been slightly over a year since I started nail art. BUT let's not forget it has been a lifelong (sort of) journey with doodle-ings! :D So, nahhh I'm no miracle worker ;)
LöschenAh, but thank you for the compliment! :P
Love the colors you choose to do this gorgeous mani!! Wonderful design!!!!))
AntwortenLöschenThank you so much, Anastasia! :) They were mostly inspired by the colour scheme used in the picture! :D It's got a really nice atmosphere to it, eh? Glad that you liked them! ♥
LöschenDas sieht so toll aus. Ist dir sehr gut gelungen
AntwortenLöschenHello! Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the look! Though it looks a little complicated, but it really is simple once you get the hang of it! :D As for the triangles, those require a little more work. I do suggest starting with the middle row of triangles first (yellow ones) then slowly paint the rest. :) It's easier when there's a "backbone" to rely on.
LöschenLovely! - I wish these ladies would add a follow via email option - it's all I use now days since Google Reader stopped.
AntwortenLöschenThank you! Oh, do you know about bloglovin? You could sign up over there (it's free!) and follow blogs via that too. It's pretty convenient and they have also introduced mobile version. You can also choose to organise the blogs you read by groupings too (like a folder where you store different files) so yeah, lotsa flexibilities! ;)
LöschenCongrats with your guest post. Looking great as always!!! ♥
AntwortenLöschenHehe, thank you very much! So happy to know you like them too! ♥
LöschenThank you again everyone in Lackaffen for this wonderful opportunity! ♥
